Abundance Mindset

Success is not a ZERO sum game.

My success is not your lack of success and vice versa. We can all have great success and it does not take away from each other. Therefore, success does not come at the expense of someone else. It isn’t as if there is a finite amount of “success” and we are all fighting for it. We can all win.

Success can be qualitative as well as quantitative. We can innovate, create new ideas, technologies and techniques which can serve to help others and ourselves. We can then also turn those creative ideas into successful businesses. All of this is success.

Conversely, the more success we generate can actually help inspire others as well so we can all collectively create more success in life, business and investing. This is the abundance mindset.

Let’s understand what a zero sum game is first. It is where one person’s win is another’s loss. I think of sports and chess games here. The net result of those games is zero. 1 win and -1 loss so they equal zero.

As I stated before, success can breed more success. Ever notice how some people that are successful in one field can carry that success over into other fields? It begins in our minds. We must remain positive and it is best to maintain a growth mindset. Also, success is best accomplished in a collaborative environment with many likeminded working together.

When you share and help others with your expertise, knowledge and experiences we all succeed. We all lift each other and elevate together.

There is plenty of goodness and success to go around. It may be due to our “sports centered” societies that we feel there is a winner and a loser but not with success. It is the opposite. The more success we create and share the more everyone benefits.

I believe in win-win situations for all. In business I always strive for the win-win. Building the best products to sell to my customers so that they can streamline and maximize their production as well. Creating the best services to help educate others to succeed.

As we act more positively with an abundance mindset we generate more for ourselves and others. The positivity is contagious and so is success.

There is always more success, more opportunities, more goodness. We may have learned otherwise from society or our pasts but we can change that. Remember our lives are the culmination of our decisions. If we want to change our lives, we need to change our decisions. We can improve our decision making but it starts with a positive, abundance mindset for success.

We need to avoid the “fear of failure”. Many great mistakes lead to greater success. We must not give up. Turn that failure into a learning experience. Mistakes are part of life.

Some people also have a “fear of success”. Why would anyone fear success? It is because change in itself can be scary. It seems easier to just stay the course but our happiness and success depends upon us changing and improving our lives. With continued learning and growth, we can do anything!

Remember, we can all succeed. Helping others can create even more success for all. Always strive for the win-win because there is an abundance of goodness and success for all!
